Yes, lunchtime care is available for kindergarten and school children. Lunchtime care starts at 11:00 and ends when the child goes back to school.
Only the people named in the care contract may pick up the child. Changes must be notified in writing.
Care costs must also be paid if the child is absent. Planned absences should be reported early. If planned absences are reported at least one week in advance, no meal allowance has to be paid.
Vacation periods must be planned in consultation with parents. Day families are entitled to 5 weeks of vacation per year and must announce this to parents at least 3 months in advance.
The child, who has to find their way into two families, must be carefully and gradually prepared for the upcoming change in care. Settlement is carried out in accordance with our internal acclimatization concept. Childminders determine the settling in period together with the parents. It is based on the needs of the child.
Nidino offers comprehensive support and takes care of all administrative work, including billing and customer service.
Registration takes place via the Nidino website, where suitable day families can be selected directly.
Nidino carries out multi-level security checks before and during the training of day families. Regular background checks and training are carried out to ensure the highest safety standards.
You will receive an invoice once a month.
Childcare periods are set out in the care contract, are binding and must be remunerated accordingly to the day family. Changes are possible at short notice, but must be agreed upon. Additional days of care may be offered subject to availability.
Short-term minor changes can be arranged with the day family and can be made with mutual consent. The contractual scope of support is considered binding and must be remunerated accordingly.Permanent and significant changes to the scope of care or periods of care must be notified to Nidino with a lead time of 4 weeks and will be recorded in writing.
With the consent of the day family, irregular care is also possible and is contractually agreed. In the case of irregular working hours, the day family must be informed of childcare hours at least two weeks in advance so that they can organise themselves.
Overnight stays are possible by appointment and are charged at a flat rate.
In the absence of the day family, there is generally no right to a substitute. However, Nidino helps you find replacement care and recommends a suitable day family nearby.
No sick or injured children may be cared for by day families. In the case of mild illnesses (such as cough or runny nose), children may only be brought if they are fever-free and can participate in everyday activities.
