I have worked as a childminder with heart and soul for over 10 years and create a loving and supportive care framework for her. My focus is on taking care of the children in the fresh air as possible — whether on the Limmat, in the forest or at one of the many nearby playgrounds. I really enjoy accompanying the children's development and providing them with exciting experiences in nature.
I manage to meet the needs of each individual child in a larger group. I always keep the balance so that all children, whether small or big, feel comfortable and valued.
I enthusiastically explore the surrounding area with the children and spend a lot of time outside. Whether on the Limmat, in the forest for barbecuing or on the playground — nature is our extended playroom, which always offers children new discoveries and adventures.
For me, the best thing about working with children is the sparkle in their eyes when they experience joy and discover new things. The children's gratitude and trust are priceless for me. I attach great importance to harmonious cooperation, in which everyone treats each other with respect. The older children take responsibility and learn to pay attention to the younger ones, while basic rules such as listening and consideration are firmly established.
I live with my husband, our three children — a 17-year-old son, a 15-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old daughter — and our cat. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors, whether camping, skiing or cycling. Our children are active in the trail, and we love to experience adventures together and cultivate our connection to nature.
Our large apartment offers plenty of space for games and fun, and there is a playground right in the courtyard, which is ideal for the kids. The surrounding area is perfect for outdoor activities — we often go on trips to the Limmat or spend time in the forest. The variety of playgrounds and the proximity to nature give us the opportunity to go on exciting trips every day and get children excited about the world around them.
